Why Use Forensic
Examiners?
A forensic examination is far more than a simple search of a hard drive, and it's highly unlikely that someone not trained in digital forensics will even be able to find all the evidence. Even if they do, it could easily be rendered inadmissible. Until now, digital evidence has gotten somewhat of a free ride in the courts, because there were so few experts who could credibly challenge it. That era is over. Digital evidence is now frequently challenged. Trained forensic experts gather and present evidence in a fashion to maximize judicial durability. ![]() |
