Evidence Technology performs a multitude of different enhancement procedures to video recordings, all of which fall within the Forensic Video Core Service classification. FV1 — Forensic Video Core Service — Includes all phases of the enhancement and processing of existing video material. We can accept video recordings in almost any format, from VHS to the proprietary encoding of today's most modern Digital Video Recorders. Includes footage with audio or without. The FV1 service includes de-plexing recordings from surveillance systems that combine multiple cameras into a single signal, as well as a vast array of processes designed to extract needed information from poor quality video. Image stabilization, sharpening, contrast adjustment, color correction, and boosting the light levels in footage shot in the dark are a few of these processes. We recommend a visit to the Forensic Video/Audio Department of the Learning Center, where you'll get a better understanding of the amazing things we can do with video footage. FA1 — Forensic Audio Core Service — Removal of background and ambient noises, while strengthening and performing tonal enhancement of the primary content. Do visit the Forensic Video/Audio Department of the Learning Center for a deeper discussion of these processes. ![]() |
